Cooking Sessions
In 1992, the artist Rirkrit Tiravanija transformed a New York gallery into a kitchen and invited gallery goers to take part in, as well as interact with, art in new ways. The work Do We Dream Under the Same Sky is also about wanting to trigger social relations and set up encounters between artist and guests. The work, specially created for The Garden – End of Times, Beginning of Times, focuses on food made from local ingredients and on sustainability. During the exhibition, guests will be encouraged to take part in the cooking sessions organised in the installation every Sunday from 11.00 am – 5 pm when visitors to the exhibition can sample the food prepared in the pavilion.

All ingredients used for food preparation in Do We Dream Under the Same Sky are sponsored by Topkærgaard, an organic farm and farm shop located 8 km north of Aarhus, Denmark. with, art in new ways.
